About Vaishnavi

I am an Integrative Trauma Therapist and Counselling Psychologist with over 7 years of experience. My work starts from a simple but important belief: that the patterns we struggle most with make complete sense when we understand where they came from. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, personality disorders, adult ADHD, attachment wounds, low self confidence, overthinking, communication and boundary setting, and relationship patterns that feel stuck on repeat. My approach is integrative, drawing from Schema Therapy, DBT, IFS, and body-based work, because no single framework holds the whole of a person. I don't work from a place of fixing. I work from the understanding that the parts of you that feel too much, shut down, or keep self-sabotaging were shaped by real experiences, and they deserve curiosity, not correction. My sessions are collaborative, paced to your readiness, and rooted in emotional safety. I want you to feel genuinely met here, not managed, not rushed, not reduced to a diagnosis. Just understood, and slowly supported toward something that feels more like yourself. I also care deeply about psychoeducation, making psychological insight feel real and usable in everyday life, not clinical or distant.

  • My work integrates Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and body-based approaches, alongside trauma-informed psychotherapy, attachment-focused interventions, and psychoeducation.

  • This means sessions aren't one-size-fits-all. I draw from what's most useful for where you are, whether that's understanding the schemas driving your patterns, building emotional regulation tools, working with different parts of yourself, or reconnecting with what your body holds.

  • I work with individuals experiencing unresolved trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, chronic self-criticism, relational difficulties, people-pleasing, shame, burnout, and patterns that quietly run their lives despite their best efforts to change them.

  • Therapy with me is collaborative, reflective, and never rushed. Sessions are offered online.

  • I've spent 7+ years sitting with people in some of their most painful and quietly exhausting moments, and what I've learned is that most of us aren't broken. We're patterned. People are layered, and healing usually asks for more than one way in. If you've been carrying something for a long time and haven't found the right space to set it down, I'd like to be that space.
